    JOB SUMMARY The Route Consultant Account Executive is a key driver for the overall success of our Route Consultant organization! You are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients to provide an elite level of support and service while promoting all of the opportunities our organization can offer them. Our ideal candidate has initiative, is results driven, and focused on the client at all times.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Strong phone presence with both current and prospective clients. A limited amount of “cold calling” but more “warm lead” calls as we respond to inquiries made on our website or via email • Conduct sales calls to client base with efficient information gathering along with follow up to build rapport and secure business listings • Follow-up on leads from website inquiries and convert into clients • Make recommendations for new lead sources as knowledge and familiarity with the industry develop • Train and develop new business owners in central aspects of operating a logistics business • Work with internal team on pipeline opportunities, coaching up the future Associate Brokers, and continually finding opportunities for the organization as a whole to improve and grow

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS • Excellent negotiation and communication skills • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to interpret and communicate complex ideas effectively to a wide range of audiences • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and effectively • Great attention to detail ***We will train the right candidate for this position.

    QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent job-related experience • Minimum 2 years of sales experience

    ABOUT PATTON LOGISTICS + ROUTE CONSULTANT Headquartered in Brentwood, TN, our team of independent FedEx Ground contractors manages a fleet of 275 trucks and over 225 employees across the United States. Our routes include FedEx Ground Home Delivery. In addition to serving as Independent FedEx Ground Contractors, we offer extensive consulting services to new and experienced FedEx Ground route owners. These services include business valuations, operations/fleet management optimization, route efficiency analysis, and more. Finally, we operate as FedEx Ground route brokers, maintaining an exclusive listing of routes for sale across the United States. We give each of our route sellers access to a deep pool of qualified and educated buyers.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION • The ideal candidate will be available to work extended/flexible hours • This position will require candidate to primarily work from the office, but some work-from-home flexibility is included • PTO is flexible once training is complete and work obligations are being met • Employee benefits available, including employer-paid health insurance
