    A Restoration Technician plays a critical role in recovering and restoring properties, buildings, and items damaged by various factors such as fire, water, mold, or natural disasters. Their primary responsibility is to restore these damaged assets to their pre-loss condition. A Restoration Technician works closely with a Mitigation Foreman, Core Claims Project Managers, and customers.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Damage Assessment:

    Inspect properties and items to assess the extent of damage

    Document findings, take photographs, and create detailed damage reports.

    Restoration Planning

    Develop restoration plans and strategies to return assets to their pre-loss condition.

    Estimate costs, timelines, and materials required for restoration projects.

    Damage Mitigation:

    Take immediate actions to mitigate further damage, such as securing structures, removing water, or preventing mold growth.

    Set up drying and dehumidification equipment as needed.

    Cleaning and Restoration:

    Clean and sanitize damaged areas.

    Repair or replace damaged materials and structures (e.g., drywall, flooring, roofing).

    Remove and dispose of debris and damaged items.

    Mold Remediation:

    Identify and address mold growth issues.

    Apply appropriate mold remediation techniques following industry standards

    Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration:

    Clean and restore properties affected by fire and smoke.

    Remove soot, smoke odors, and fire-damaged materials.

    Water Damage Restoration:

    Handle water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes.

    Repair or replace damaged plumbing, electrical systems, and insulation.

    Communication and Documentation:

    Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and other team members.

    Keep detailed records of all restoration activities, costs, and materials used.

    Safety Compliance:

    Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and the team

    Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

    Customer Service:

    Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and questions.

    Ensure client satisfaction with the restoration process.
