What does a Mitigation Associate (MA) with Paul Davis do?
Serve your community when it needs it the most
Develop and maintain partnerships with agents, adjusters, and commercial clients
Estimate, sell, manage, invoice and collect on commercial and residential jobs.
Communicate with clients and adjusters the scope and expectations for mitigation
Celebrate the completion of projects with clients and your team members
Learn new things daily about scoping and signing mitigation projects
Get results and set proper expectations for others

Mitigation Associates work with property owners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and mitigation technicians to clean up after water, fire, mold, and storm damage to commercial and residential properties. As a MA, you will develop and maintain long term relationships with adjusters, agents, repeat commercial clients. When your clients need Paul Davis, you will manage the emergency response to their property damage claims. You will manage the job from signing to completion of dry out and clean up. This means you will spend part of your time in the office and part of your time in the field to see that your projects get completed properly.

Salary with quarterly reviews and commission-based pay increases. Our current MAs yearly pay range from $40,000 to $85,000 depending on their production. No limit to earning potential.
Team Qualifications (Requirements):
Proven sales record
Experience building relationships with residential and/or commercial partners
Ability to clearly deliver truth and give certainty when property owners need it most
Proficient with a variety of current technology
Career emphasis on learning and continuing education
Sound planning and organizational skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Valid Driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
Previous estimating experience (ex. Xactimate) is welcomed if willing to continually learn within industry. Industry certifications, including IICRC and Lead preferred. If limited experience but you meet all qualifications, we will invest in your training.
Role on the Team (Job Functions):
Meet operational objectives of: Sales, Gross Margin, Brand Experience
Develop your own book of business and create new residential and commercial partnerships for Paul Davis to grow sales
Clearly communicate expectations with customer and adjuster, onsite as needed
Document job progress
Ensure project completes within profit range and service level agreements are hit
Ensure compliance with standards and regulations
Estimate, Invoice, and collect on your completed projects
Participate in the on-call rotation, requiring evening and weekend point of contact for any new losses, as determined by the rotating schedule.
Participate in local community events
Build relationships with key customers – direct and B2B
Establish relationships with business owners, insurance professionals, and TPA's
Seek partnerships to improve the performance of the team
