The Commercial Construction Manager schedules, tracks and expedites multiple projects ranging from $1,000 - $500,000. He or she manages subcontractors, vendors, and employee tradesmen. The job involves planning and coordinating job starts, and modifies work schedules to minimize delays. He or she meets and communicates with customers, employees and trade partners frequently.

Project will be a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

The Commercial Construction Manager recruits qualified tradesmen, assigns tradesmen to the jobs, and follows up to ensure the work is done correctly. He or she ensures that the job is completed in a timely manner and within the budget.

This is a fast-paced work environment. The Commercial Construction Manager typically handles 10-15 jobs at a time, all of which require some attention every day. It is critical to keep each job moving and ensure that the work is good quality at every step. Workmanship and warranty issues must be handled as they arise.

This position requires a sense of ownership of the jobs and an urgency to complete them, strong management and people skills, computer/typing skills, and a strong work ethic. Candidates must be detail oriented, able to work within a budget, and know what quality work looks like. A minimum of five years construction supervision experience is required. Homebuilding and or remodeling experience is a strong plus, as is experience in commercial construction.

This is a supervisory job, but it is sometimes necessary to lift, push or move up to 50 pounds without assistance. This job requires the ability to climb, keel, squat and crouch in order to thoroughly inspect the job.

All jobs are within 90 miles of Tulsa. This is a career position offering a competitive salary plus bonus, company vehicle, medical, IRA.

Salary range is $60,000-$80,000 including bonus
