What does a Paul Davis Construction Project Manager do?
Commercial Construction Managers schedule and supervise tradesmen to repair residential and commercial properties after fire, flood and storms. They deliver quality renovations efficiently, while working within a budget. They spend substantial time in the field to ensure projects are completed quickly and correctly. The job includes:
Managing 8-15 projects ranging from $2,000 to $500,000+
Continuously improving their performance and setting proper expectations of others
Constantly learning about construction and restoring homes and commercial properties
Documenting their work and scheduling their jobs to meet client requirements
Celebrating completion of projects with tradesmen, property owners grateful to be back in their properties, and Paul Davis team members

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary plus bonus ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 based on completed projects and margins
Company vehicle and cell phone

Requirements
Five years of construction management experience
Ability to recruit, develop and lead teams of skilled tradesmen
Track record of increasing responsibility, industry learning and continuing education
Sound planning and organizational skills
Excellent communications and presentation skills
Role on the Team (Job Functions)
Develop relationships with and supervise vendors and tradesmen
Confirm budget and work orders before project start
Meet operational objectives of Sales, Gross Margin, Brand Experience
Weekly project review meetings
Ensure compliance with construction standards and regulations
Participate in community events

We require a drug test and background check
The physical environment includes all types of indoor and outdoor conditions
Occasionally required to use personal protective equipment
Physical Requirements: must be able to stand and walk, occasional bending, squatting, climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds
