    Paul Davis Restoration Central Valley, is an INSURANCE RESTORATION SERVICE COMPANY seeking a full-time person with good office skills, and good people skills. Must be detail-oriented with computer, Excel and some accounting experience.

    Paul Davis is currently looking for a Job Cost Accountant, (JCA), in your area. At Paul Davis, we help homeowners put their lives together after a traumatic event. If you like helping others, are detailed oriented, can perform in stressful situations, have excellent communication skills, knowledge of accounting, debits and credits, QuickBooks, and would enjoy the reward of working in a fast-paced environment, come join us. The Job Cost Accountant works with owners and the office staff to ensure that all jobs are costed properly, accurately, and follow the guidelines for the Job Cost accountant. There is never a dull moment. We are looking for individuals with a strong accounting background.

    Manage all phases of job costing within RMS and QuickBooks Accounting Software

    Participate in all administrative functions of the office

    Maintain all accounting, computer and financial records for franchise in conjunction with a CPA

    Support the daily operations of the franchise as needed, and particularly when the owner and general manager are not available

    Operate with a “start-up” mindset

    Is self-motivated • Likes working with people

    Is organized but flexible. Must be able to prioritize and manage time

    Has excellent communication skills

    Works well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    QuickBooks knowledge

    Responsibilities

    Enter financial data and transactions

    Analyze budgets and other financial information

    Reconcile bank statements

    Prepare financial reports and statements

    Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered

    Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

    Create accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations

    Process payroll

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field

    Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position

    Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

    Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems

    Strong mathematical and analytical skills

    Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
