    Position: Mitigation Manager

    Reports To: President

    General Responsibilities: Development and supervision of all mitigation personnel to ensure timely response and expert completion of the job, overall customer satisfaction, and operational/financial performance of the mitigation division.

    Specific Responsibilities:

    Hire, train and manage a team of mitigation professionals in accordance with insurance program SLAs and industry best practices;

    Professionally represent the Paul Davis principles of honesty and integrity;

    Preparation of, and/or the review of, mitigation estimates (experience with Xactimate strongly preferred);

    Developing key performance measures to monitor and improve the operating and financial performance of the mitigation division;

    Ensure compliance with operating standards;

    Schedule and hold meetings with mitigation team, identifying best practices, business opportunities and strategies;

    Develop a strong culture around customer service;

    Develop and manage a risk management/safety program, including the proper use of PPE by team members;

    Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess most/all of the following:

    IICRC certified: WRT + preference for ASD, FSRT, AMRT (or equivalent)

    Xactimate proficiency

    3 years as a mitigation manager or team lead

    Clean criminal background check

    Valid driver's license

    Ability to work nights/weekends and overtime, as needed

    Strong management/leadership/writing/communication skills

    Strong writing and communication skills

    Strength: Medium/heavy - exert force 20 - 100 lbs. frequently or 10- 40 lbs. constantly. May involve significant stand/walk/push/pull

    Physical Demands: Occasional climbing, balancing, crouching, frequent stooping, reaching, kneeling, handling, fingering, smelling and hearing. Vision: frequent near and far acuity, depth perception and color vision.

    Environmental Conditions: Climate controlled home/office and other settings. Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat. Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud and from occasional to frequent time periods. Exposure to fumes from solvents and chemical solutions.
