The Job Cost Accountant we need is an accurate and expert accounting or administrative professional who can help property owners put their lives together after a traumatic event such as a fire or flood. If you can perform well in stressful situations, have excellent communication skills, enjoy working in a fast paced environment, and have serious attention to detail – you've come to the right place.

As a Job Cost Accountant, you will be working with property owners and the office staff to ensure that all jobs are costed properly, accurately, and follow the guidelines. You will be practicing continuous improvement every day as you establish rapport with insurance carriers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, adjusters, agents and fellow team members!

Responsibilities:

Manage all phases of job costing

Manage the daily operations of the franchise as needed when the owner is not available

Maintain all accounting, computer and financial records

Be empathetic and show a sense of urgency while communicating through modern technology

Establish a rapport with insurance carriers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, adjusters, agents and fellow employees

Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service

Assist other team members when needed and foster a positive working relationship with other departments

Qualifications:

Knowledge of accounting, debits and credits, and QuickBooks

Experience with RMS is preferred but not required

Must be able to prioritize and manage time

Excellent communication skills

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Have the ability to work nights/weekends and overtime, if needed

Willingness to work hard … and sweat the details!
