    Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Job Cost Accountant with expertise in accounts payables, accounts receivables, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations. This role is crucial in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate reporting for our restoration company. QuickBooks Online experience is a must, and previous experience in the construction or restoration industry is required.     Responsibilities: Track internal Labor costs accurately Manage and maintain accurate project cost accounting records for multiple restoration projects. Monitor project budgets, analyze cost variances, and provide timely reporting to comptroller Process accounts payable transactions, including reviewing invoices, verifying supporting documentation, and ensuring accurate coding. Prepare and issue payments to vendors and suppliers in a timely manner, following company policies and procedures. Reconcile vendor statements, resolve any discrepancies or issues, and maintain strong vendor relationships. Handle accounts receivables, including invoicing clients, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances. Onboard subtrades and maintain compliance and handle 1099s. Maintain and organize accounting files and order supplies . Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions. Perform monthly reconciliations of credit card statements, ensuring accurate recording of expenses. Collaborate with project managers and field personnel to track and reconcile project costs. Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies related to job cost accounting, accounts payables, accounts receivables, and reconciliations. Assist in the month-end , quarterly and year- end closing process by preparing accruals and reconciling accounts. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations, assist with closing jobs. Stay updated with industry standards and regulations related to job cost accounting and financial transactions. Utilize QuickBooks Online extensively to manage financial transactions and reporting accurately. Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Job Cost Accountant with expertise in accounts payables, accounts receivables, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Experience in the construction or restoration industry is required. Proficiency in using accounting software, Excel and MS Office applications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Familiarity with job cost tracking software or RMS systems is a plus. Benefits:
