What does a Restoration Estimator with Paul Davis do?
Prepares accurate, timely and profitable project estimates
Consistently closes sales opportunities
Effectively communicates with clients and adjusters about the scope of the project
Gets results and set proper expectations for others

Restoration Estimators work with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property. As a Restoration Estimator, you will be on scene after property disasters to accurately scope projects and sign work for our production teams to complete. You will build relationships with insurance professionals and communicate with property owners the expectations to build the structure back to its original condition.

Qualifications (Requirements):
Minimum of five years of restoration or construction estimating experience
Expert level skill on Xactimate and Symbility estimating tools; Certification is a plus
Highly persuasive
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to operate both within the office environment and in the field
High school diploma or GED
Military experience is a plus
Valid driver's license with a clean record
Must pass criminal background check
Fluent in English
Must have the ability to work on call, weekend and overtime, if needed
Industry certifications, including IICRC and Lead preferred. If limited experience but you meet all other qualifications, we will invest in your training.
Role on the Team (Job Functions):
Profitably scope estimates on construction projects and property insurance losses
Negotiate and secure approval of projects with the insurance adjuster and property owner
Meet operational objectives and quotas including monthly sales, project gross margin, organization's net promoter score, etc.
Clearly communicate and set expectations with project managers, insurance adjusters and property owner, as needed
Communicate and document any change orders and insurance supplements
Ensure project completion within profit range and service level agreements are hit
Participate in the on-call rotation, requiring evening and weekend point of contact for any new losses, as determined by the rotating schedule.
Participate in local community events
Establish relationships with business owners, insurance professionals, and TPA's
Seek partnerships to improve performance of the team
