    As a Restoration Estimator, you will play a critical role in our operations. Drawing on your extensive experience in disaster restoration estimating, you will be responsible for accurately assessing the scope of restoration projects. Your keen problem-solving skills and analytical approach will enable you to navigate complexities and provide comprehensive and precise estimates. With your meticulous attention to detail, you will ensure that every aspect of the project is accounted for, leaving no room for surprises.     Key Accountabilities:

    Create and write estimates using Xactimate and core logic

    Negotiate and direct communication with insurance representatives throughout each project

    Schedule and communicate meetings with project managers

    Support project management team in producing supplements and change orders

    Build and maintain business relationships with insurance adjusters, brokers, and TPA’s

    Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates

    Ensure each project achieves a minimum gross profit margin as determined by company standards

    Grow knowledge of new industry technology, building products, and current building trends

    Skills, Characteristics and Abilities:

    Ability to produce a consistent, predictable, and comprehensive product (estimate)

    Highly dedicated and extreme accountability

    Driven, self-starting, confident decision maker

    Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate with individuals across all functions

    Ability to stay calm under pressure

    Approachable and friendly demeanor

    Strong negotiation skills

    Minimum Requirements:

    Required: High School Diploma or GED

    Required: 5+ years of restoration estimating experience

    Required: Industry-specific experience. This may include working for an insurance carrier, restoration contractor, building inspector, or an independent adjusting firm.

    Required: Xactimate, RMS/Dash, Microsoft Office

    Required: Understand common building and structural equations to determine materials

    Required: General understanding of gross margin, price setting, and project budgeting

    Preferred: Experience with Symbility and/or Xactimate Certification

    Preferred: Read and interpret engineering plans

    Preferred: IICRC Fire Smoke Certification, Structural Drying

    Other duties as required
