Essential Duties/Responsibilities
A Business Development Representative will be responsible for growing awareness of Paul Davis and building relationships in the community with organizations that utilize restoration services.
Build key relationships within the construction and restoration community to generate business leads
Cold call prospective business by email, phone call and in person introductions
Possess understanding of product positioning and marketing
Maintain a sense of urgency in creating and following up with leads
Communicate the various service offerings to potential customers
Attend business related events within the community
Serve as the lead for special campaigns and assignments
Compile and communicate progress reports
Coordinate and participate in seminars, tradeshows and other industry events
Develop a business plan in partnership with Paul Davis leadership to achieve profitability goals
Submit and maintain a log of weekly activities and meetings scheduled
Participate in company meetings, trainings and conferences

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS, PDConnect, SharePoint, and One Drive

Ability to work office equipment (fax, scanner, printer, phone system, computers)
Ability to work independently
Ability to operate a company vehicle safely

Education and Experience:
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
One to three years of B2B sales experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Preferred
Experience with industry software
One to three years of B2B sales experience in construction, restoration or related field
