    Cabinet Design and Flooring Specialist

    The position works with our customers and Reconstruction Department. This poition guides the customer to select tile, flooring, fixtures, and cabinets for properties impacted by fire & water. This poition maintains our materials selection room with current samples and up to date pricing. The Cabinet Design/Flooring Specialist also maintains & creates relationships with manufacturer reps and local suppliers.

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities

     Answer incoming calls for active customers and materials reps

     Complete job notes in operating systems (when needed)

     Create new relationships with vendors/suppliers and negotiate pricing

     Create and send quotes to Project Managers and Estimators

     Maintenance and filing materials selections and current price lists for booth locations

     Confirm that the current jobs are on schedule with materials

     Coordinate job/project schedules, resources and materials

     Liaison with clients to identify and define material selections needed for job

     Ensure the client’s needs are met from start to completion of job

     Assist Project Managers, Estimators, and Department Managers with materials selections and ordering

     Knowledge of 20/20 Design and Fohlio

    Competency – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

     Knowledge of Design and Materials selections

     Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), Fohilo20/20 Design

     Customer Service Skills

     Communication skills

     Typing skills

     Administration skills

     Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS, Xactimate,

     ADP, SharePoint, and One Drive

     Ability to create documents

     Ability to answer and communicate with customers over the phone

     Ability to work office equipment (fax, scanner, printer, phone system, computers)

     Ability to work independently

     Ability to coordinate multiple jobs within the same time frame

     Stress Management and Composure

     Maintain a level of confidentiality

    Required Education and Experience

     High School Diploma or GED required

     Customer Service experience

     One plus years’ experience in Design, construction and materials selections specific to bathroom and kitchen remodels

    Preferred Education and Experience

     Associate Degree

     Three or more years’ experience within the remodeling/design industry

    Physical Requirement

     Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 100% of the time

     The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

     Occasional offsite visits

     Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a

    calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and computer printer.

     Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents

     Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone

     Occasionally will lift up to 10lbs

     Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
