Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative’s primary role is to ensure growth in sales for our insurance and non-insurance activity. This position will identify leads and develop relationships with potential and maintain relationships with existing clients.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Identify leads within the target market for residential and commercial client base, with a focus on commercial business
Complete research on the potential customer
Develop relationships through lead identification
Arrange business meetings with potential and existing customer base
Maintain relationship with new and existing customer base
Attend social events within local membership committees
Attend social events to network to identified leads
Promote the company’ services and culture
Establish relationships with local Fire Departments and Fire Marshals/Commissioners
Develop Emergency Response Plans with local Townships to promote business for our company
Document leads through our main operating system, RMS
Partner with the Emergency Response Coordinator to identify and target leads
Become a subject expert on our business and remain up to date on our business
Send weekly status reports to Direct Report, via email
Competency – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Knowledge of restoration industry

Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS and PDConnect
Ability to promote the company

Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Three years’ experience in a role within the restoration industry or role in Sales and/or Business Development
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing, Administration and/or Communications
One or more years’ experience within the restoration industry or related industry
Travel
This position will require up to 100% travel. Required to report to the office as needed.
This is a full time, permanent position. 40-50 Hours/week. Benefits, 401K, and vacation days available after 90 days.
