Paul Davis, Mid-Atlantic is one of the largest professional full-service restoration and remodeling firms in Pennsylvania. As a Company Owned Operation, we provide stability, growth and leadership opportunities to all employees. Our office, based in Lancaster, is the Mid-Atlantic hub for all large or commercial losses.
The Apprentice Program is designed to provide motivated leaders to a path to a successful career in the restoration industry. Activity and direction will be provided to assist the candidate in developing the skills and knowledge to be successful in various positions within the industry. The position will initially be responsible for providing on-site services to our customers, working along side out hourly staff and field management. The Apprentice must learn to deliver expert and professional services and knowledge to our clients with the expectations of developing into a leader within the company. They must demonstrate an interest and desire to excel in all aspects of the company including technical, management, and sales. The Apprentice will be in front line contact during a project and is a valuable contributor to the organization. The Apprentice must learn to deliver these services through personal contribution/activity in our service areas. The Apprentice will be asked to support other offices with our region as required by individual job or capacity requirements.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
The essential functions of the Apprentice reside in four broad categories: To move from an Apprentice to other positions, the following areas must be mastered.
Basic entry level requirements:
Work safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, etc.
Survey damage within the property
o Evaluate and record damage to all items within the property
Cleaning process for both contents and structural damage
Clear and professional communication with the customer and the management team
Successfully complete required training courses as directed
Financial Management
Work effectively to ensure productivity and job performance
Perform at a rate expected of their position and capability utilizing or develop new practices
Identify opportunities for additional sales and customer service
Human Resources
Represent the company well and within the limits of our culture
Participate in recruitment of additional staff
Understand and live Core Vales
Position Requirements
Must possess a 2 or 4 year post high school degree or an honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces
Construction experience and/or knowledge preferred
Attention to detail
Exceptional communication (oral and written)
Technically adept with smart phone and tablet technology
Ability to operate within hazardous environments with care and safety
Must pass review of background and DMV review
Must posses a valid Driver's License
This is a career within the restoration industry that will start within our Field Staff with additional training to become a Leader/Manager within our organization.
