POSITION SUMMARY

The Media/Reagent Technician (MRT) is a crew member for multiple course labs which require live culture growth media, reagents, and electrophoresis or diffusion gels. The MRT works closely with course TAs, MCT and Instructor(s) to ensure needed media, reagents, and gels are ready for use when required.

The microbiology course instructor is the direct supervisor, and the person who makes the final hire decision.

• Must be a La Sierra University student currently enrolled in the Fall 2019 quarter
• Must be able to start work on or before required start date September 16
• Must have taken BIOL185/L or 474/L within last 2 years and passed with a grade of B or higher or been a previous TA2 for either course in the last year
