    Paula LeDuc Fine Catering and Events is seeking an EXPERIENCED PASTRY SOUS CHEF. Professionalism, positive attitude, keen sense of urgency, and attention to detail are keys to our fast paced, diverse, and ever-changing pastry program.

     

    The pastry team provides plated desserts, sweet petites, breakfast items, confections, preserves, support to the savory team, some breads and rolls, crackers, beverage support, celebration cakes and more.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    ·        3 years’ experience with “in house” pastry/baking production.  

    ·        Cake production/assembly/decoration and supervisory, ordering skills a plus.

    ·        Assess menu requirements,

    ·        Write prep lists, maintain inventory/order supplies to execute requirements. 

    ·        Participate, oversee, and train team members in all facets of pastry production for events. 

    ·        Assist with recipe testing. 

    ·        Ensure that team members practice correct food handling/storage/packout procedures.
