    Experienced Account Executive

    Our Account Executive position is responsible for developing and maintaining enduring Client relationships by providing expert advice and unparalleled personal service as they guide Clients through the creative process.  They bring the Client’s vision to life by effectively coordinating with our talented team of event professionals and underpin every aspect of a successful event with comprehensive planning and precise implementation.

    Required: 3-5 years of Hospitality Sales, Catering and or Special Event experience with a passion for food and beverage

     RESPONSIBILITIES

    Primary responsibility for this position will fall into three critical areas:  1) forge personal connections with Clients by working collaboratively with them to create successful and impactful events;  2) generate customized one-of-a-kind catering proposals; and 3)create enduring Client relationships through integrity, trust, partnership and accountability.

    • Create lasting and enduring Client relationships.

    • Develop active Client list through prospecting actions as well as offering quality deliverables to existing clients.

    • Invite, host and attend events to strengthen relationships with existing Clients and meet potential new ones.

    • Successfully follow up with prospective Clients to qualify leads for potential future events.

    • Deliver effective sales presentations by having actively listened to the Client’s needs and through effective collaboration with the internal design and operations team.

    • Skillful at synthesizing various individual elements into a cohesive and successful event.

    • Achieve individual and company-wide Client satisfaction objectives.

    • Responsible for generating and maintaining your Individual Sales Plan throughout the year.

    • Meet or exceed individual sales and booking goals.

     

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

    • Effective at delivering interpersonal Client service expressed in a warm, gracious, authentic and informed manner.
    • Able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of your work area which is English.
    • Able to coordinate activities with multiple components requiring independent follow through and attention to detail.
    • Comfortable in a multi-task environment with frequent interruptions and short deadlines, and sometimes a high degree of pressure.
    • Highly organized and detail oriented.
    • Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with Clients, management and staff at all levels.
    • Maintain a view of the overall business situation when making decisions and setting policies.
    • Effective at delivering exceptional Client service expressed in a warm, gracious, professional, authentic and informed manner.
    • Excellent basic math skills.
    • Proficient in a variety of computer software (to include:  Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel).
    • Reliable transportation to office and various event sites throughout the Greater Bay Area required.
