    Job Description

    HOW YOU’LL HAVE AN IMPACT AT PAULA’S CHOICE:  The Education Manager – Wholesale is responsible for creating and executing educational programs designed to enhance the knowledge of account executives, sales associates and brand representatives on products, protocols, selling techniques and best practices so all channels have the information needed to sell, speak to, and use our products to their full potential. This person will serve as the representative to Paula’s Choice for education at the store level with customers and with the store employees to build a rapport and following.

     

    AS THE EDUCATION MANAGER, A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE A MIX OF THE FOLLOWING:

    • Proactively assess and develop wholesale protocols, content/collateral, training curriculums and programming including digital learning. 
    • Develops and delivers educational training to drive brand awareness and product sales in an inspirational, memorable and repeatable way. 
    • Builds relationships, coaches and develops brand representatives to deliver store trainings and product knowledge that are accurate, brand-on, and consistent, and to ensure these standards are met when delivered by others.
    • Organizes and conducts training (for clients, at store level, at seminars, retailer events. etc.) 
    • Provides direction to account executives to ensure education objectives are communicated and met.
    • Provides report and feedback to Strategic Account Manager and Education Director for all training sessions.
    • Participates in the selection and interview process of sales associates.  
    • Creates, modifies and scales the Paula’s Choice University microsite for wholesale users. 
    • Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager.

     

    THE DETAILS:

    Location: Possibility to be fully remote, we are based out of Seattle

    Hours: Requires flexible hours and adaptability to meet business needs 

     Physical requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time and handle long periods of screen time. Ability to meet physical requirements involved with a high amount of travel.

    Travel requirements: Up to 75% domestic travel

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE: 

    • At least 3 years of experience as an esthetician trainer or product trainer 
    • At least 2 years of experience in skincare consulting
    • Ability to travel domestically up to 75% - must be able to travel to training sessions, sales meetings, trade shows, corporate offices as necessary to meet the training objectives and business needs of wholesale division
    • Requires flexible hours and adaptability to meet business needs 
    • Working knowledge of industry standards, trends, retail operations, and procedures
    • Proficiency in blended learning techniques
    • Proven ability and command of adult learning concepts
    • Proficient in Digital Education and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word and Articulate is optional)
    • Strong relationship-building skills, and proven record of cross-functional partnerships 
    • Effective communicator
    • Ability to work in fast paced environment
    • Ability to set priorities and deliver multiple projects simultaneously

     

     

    WHAT CAN HELP YOU REALLY STAND OUT:

    • Experience managing at least 4 indirect reports
    • BA/BS preferred
    • Valid driver’s license preferred
