    Job Description

    HOW YOU’LL HAVE AN IMPACT AT PAULA’S CHOICE:   Assisting the Regulatory Affairs Manager in responding to all product-related inquiries and actions by regulators and internal departments and assisting in preparing and producing necessary documentation for international distributors’ applications 

     

    The most important function of this role will be to support Paula’s Choice Asian markets with product registrations and submissions by creating and maintaining technical and regulatory documentation. 

     

    AS A TEMPORARY REGULATORY AFFAIRS ADMINISTRATOR, A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE A MIX OF THE FOLLOWING: 

    • Assemble Product Information Files (PIF's) for Cosmetic Products being marketed in Asia
    • Prepare regulatory submission documents as required by our markets to meet relevant regulatory needs
    • Confirm product or formula acceptability in local markets and gather feedback from Asian distributors and partners regarding new product development.
    • Research and monitor changes in Regulation, Standards that may impact the business.
    • Collaborate Research and Development, Supply Chain and Quality control team members to meet required deadlines.
    • Maintain matrices and tracking sheets for Regulatory tasks.
    • Assist in the ongoing internal formula audit by evaluate new and existing products to ensure regulatory and/or safety compliance
    • Ensure all testing reports, ingredient documents and certifications such as spec sheets and SDS are collected and filed accordingly.
    • Implementing Regulatory and Safety program with experience in foreign markets

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE: 

    • Strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills
    • Strong computer skills in MS office and Internet navigation.
    • Ability to work independently with strong attention to details
    • Exceptional organization skills

     

    WHAT CAN HELP YOU REALLY STAND OUT: 

    • BS in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science
    • Demonstrated ability representing regulatory compliance in cross-functional team setting and project management experience
    • Working knowledge of laws, regulation, and relevant compliance programs under ASEAN Cosmetic regulations
    • Knowledgeable of scientific information such as raw material function, safety data sheet (SDS), certificate of analysis, microbiology testing
    • Minimum 3-5 years of regulatory experience in cosmetic, consumer product, pharmaceutical or related field (regulatory experience in the cosmetic industry a plus)
