Pave Talent is hiring a passionate leader and strong Supervisor to oversee a Collections team at a Biotech company specializing in genetic testing. Seeking an experienced Billing and Reimbursement professional with experience monitoring and reporting on strategic revenue opportunities, making process improvement and establishing key relationships with various regional and national payers.

Responsibilities of Billing and Reimbursement Supervisor:
• Understands and interprets the Correct Coding Initiative (CCI) as it applies to charge entry work.
• Thorough understanding of payer medical policies for genetic testing and other molecular codes.
• Reduces denials by the correct use of modifiers, mapping, and linking codes with services.
• Ability to successfully track and follow up on information requests from payers.
• Responsible for the timely correction of any failed claim(s) within billing system, at clearinghouse, or via payer correspondence
&/or EOB denial.
• Strong customer service skills; promptly returns or follows up to all interactions; promptly responds to all request for information,
both internal and external.
• Ability to conduct a contract rate audit and appeal underpaid.
• Appeals claims timely and accurately to maximize reimbursement.
• Participates in educational opportunities to remain current on payer changes and industry updates.
• Thorough understanding of CMS rules and compliance regulations.
• Knowledgeable of medical EOB’s, patient deductibles and co-pays, and insurance or third party correspondence.
• Sets up and maintains of all Revenue Cycle vendors and payors
