    Pave Talent is hiring a full-time/direct hire Business Analyst for a rapidly growing biotech company in San Diego. The Business Analyst is responsible for investigating medical reimbursement trends utilizing Tableau to develop dashboards, ad-hoc reports, and visual analytics to prove insights into reimbursement trends. The Business Analyst will also be presenting findings to senior management.

    Responsibilities:

    • Investigates reimbursement trends to discover underlying reasons.
    • Responsible for design, development, and maintenance of reports and analyses.
    • Partners with business teams to translate requests into reports, data insights, and actionable metrics.
    • Supports the definition and documentation of internal and external user interfaces and supports system and data requirement clarification and definition.
    • Addresses other ongoing data requests and administrative needs as necessary.
    • Displays proficiency with technology, including office applications, report automation, database systems, generating exports, merging records, and running reports.
    • Delivers informative, well-organized presentations.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or another related field
    • 5+ years of analytic experience
    • Experience with programs such as MS CRM, Power Pivot, Power Query, and BI tools (Tableau or MS Power BI).
    • Ability to validate data from multiple sources.
    • Experience in creating presentations and working with all levels of management
    • Experience in data structures, data representation, data cleaning techniques, and data governance
    • Proficient in working with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel.
    • Industry knowledge and Billing and Financial process experience a plus
