About EverLine Richmond & Central Virginia
EverLine Coatings and Services is a commercial pavement maintenance and marking company that specializes in sealcoating, line striping, crack filling, asphalt repair, sport court overlays, and parking lot accessories.
The Role We're hiring a Crew Lead to take ownership of job site execution. You'll lead a small crew on commercial pavement maintenance projects across the Richmond metro — directing the work, holding the quality standard, and making sure every job is delivered exactly right.
You'll work alongside your crew and be the one accountable for how the job goes: site setup, crew performance, application quality, safety, and how we leave the property when we're done. You'll communicate directly ownership and your judgment on the job site will be trusted. This is the right role if you take pride in doing things right, can lead people without being told to, and want to grow into more responsibility as the company grows.
What You'll Do
Lead a crew of 1–3 technicians on commercial job sites — assign tasks, set the pace, and hold the standard
Execute and oversee pavement maintenance services including sealcoating, line striping, crack filling, asphalt patching, power washing, and sport court work
Conduct site walkthroughs before and after every job — identify hazards, verify layout, confirm quality before leaving
Set up and break down job sites efficiently, including traffic control, equipment staging, and material prep
Operate and maintain specialized equipment including sealcoat spray systems, line striping machines, blowers, and compactors
Train and develop technicians on proper application technique, equipment operation, and safety procedures
Communicate job status, site issues, and completion clearly to the Operations Lead
Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site at all times
Assist with equipment inspection and basic maintenance to keep everything job-ready
What You Bring
2–4+ years of experience in a trade, construction, landscaping, pavement, or similar hands-on field role
Prior experience leading or directing others on a job site — you've been the one people look to when a decision needs to be made
Strong mechanical aptitude — comfortable with small engines, spray equipment, and basic troubleshooting
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a truck and trailer required
Physical capability to perform demanding outdoor work including lifting up to 75 lbs, walking, bending, and working in variable weather conditions
High attention to detail — you notice when something's off and you fix it before it becomes a problem
Self-directed and reliable — you don't need someone standing over you to do things right
Clear communicator who can give direction to a crew and report up to leadership without hand-holding
Nice to Have
Direct experience with pavement maintenance services (sealcoating, striping, crack fill)
Familiarity with Graco line stripers, sealcoat spray systems, or similar commercial equipment
Experience managing a small crew on time-sensitive commercial projects
What We Offer
Competitive wages commensurate with experience
Performance bonus opportunities
Flexible scheduling with opportunities for additional hours
Training and advancement — we promote from within and want you to grow here
Benefits available after probationary period
A tight-knit team that works hard and doesn't take itself too seriously
