    Position Overview

    We are seeking a dependable Pavement Maintenance Technician to perform asphalt repairs, pavement marking installations, and surface preparation on commercial and municipal properties. This is a hands-on field position requiring reliability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail. Technicians are expected to arrive on time, follow safety protocols, and execute work to specification.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform asphalt maintenance services including sealcoating, crack sealing, pothole repair, patching, and Cut & Replace repairs

    Execute saw-cut removal and full-depth asphalt replacement (Cut & Replace), including base preparation, compaction, and finish grading

    Install and re-stripe pavement markings including parking stalls, fire lanes, ADA markings, directional arrows, curbs, and custom stencils

    Operate and maintain equipment such as line stripers, crack seal machines, blowers, plate compactors, saw cutters, pressure washers, and hand tools

    Prepare job sites through cleaning, measuring, layout, masking, and traffic control setup

    Load and unload materials and equipment; maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas

    Follow project specifications, safety standards, and traffic control plans

    Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and flexible hours as required

    Ensure timely project completion

    Qualifications

    knowledge of pavement maintenance, asphalt repair, line striping, or related construction work preferred

    Experience performing Cut & Replace asphalt repairs strongly preferred

    Valid driver’s license (clean driving record preferred)

    Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform sustained physical labor

    Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime when needed

    Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team

    Basic understanding of jobsite safety and equipment operation

    Preferred Experience (Not Required)

    Experience operating sealcoating systems and hot crack seal equipment

    Experience on commercial, municipal, or DOT-regulated projects

    Familiarity with ADA compliance standards and pavement marking layouts
