Job Description:

Pawnbrokers provide customer service to loan and retail customers. The number one priority of a pawnbroker is providing recognition and assistance to our customers.

Duties:

Assisting pawn and sales customers with their needs. Building a team-oriented environment through assisting other employees in all store activities. Pawnbrokers are responsible for maintaining a presentable store and store grounds at all times. Other procedural duties include, but are not limited to filing pawn tickets, daily inventory counts and merchandising.

Skills/Education Required:

No Experience Necessary. Potential employees must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn new skills. High School diploma minimum.

Other Requirements:

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Must be able to obtain a Pawnshop License. Must provide own mode of transportation to and from work. May be required to push, pull or carry items weighing 10 plus pounds. May come in contact with chemicals for cleaning and acids for metal testing. Must be able to read and write English fluently. They must also have sales and basic mathematical skills.
