You will partner internally with product, data, and operational teams to anticipate and resolve issues impacting our business, while externally engaging with acquirers, issuers, and providers to advance our “best-in-class” payments vision.

The job requires thinking critically, implementing solutions, and using analytics to achieve business goals.

    • Collaborate with Product, Treasury, Finance, Operations, Risk, Analytics, and Regional teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
    • Partner with engineering and ML platform teams to strengthen infrastructure for scalable, production-ready model deployment.
    • Generate hypotheses that will drive experiment design and build business case to explore revenue impact for each opportunity prioritized on the roadmap
    • Develop and optimize payment strategies that improve payments success rates, including both checkout and recurring transactions.
    • Engage with external payments vendors and acquirers to incorporate market insights, leverage external data sources, and stay ahead of evolving industry trends.

    What you need to succeed

    • Strong ability to rapidly learn and apply business context within the complex payments ecosystem.
    • Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related technical field with focus on machine learning, AI, or predictive modeling.
    • Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models with clear business impact.
    • Exceptional communication skills, able to bridge technical detail with business context for diverse stakeholders.
    • Ownership attitude, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with limited process.
    • Deep familiarity with the ML lifecycle and sound technical judgment on model deployment strategies.
    • Proficiency in Python and ML/DL frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).
