    Position Overview

    Seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist to join a growing consulting firm supporting multiple client accounts. This role is ideal for someone organized, dependable, and comfortable managing both AP and payroll functions in a fast-paced environment.

    The Ideal Candidate

    • Experience handling both payroll and accounts payable

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    • Able to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines

    • Comfortable communicating with clients directly

    • Organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process invoices, payments, reconciliations, and vendor records

    • Manage AP schedules, reimbursements, and cash transfers

    • Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time

    • Maintain payroll records, deductions, onboarding, and compliance

    • Prepare 1099s, W-2s, and payroll-related reports

    • Communicate with clients regarding payroll and AP matters

    • Assist with GL coding, reporting, and other accounting support tasks

    Qualifications & Must-Haves

    • 2+ years of payroll and accounts payable experience

    • Strong understanding of payroll compliance and bookkeeping principles

    • Experience with payroll/accounting software such as ADP, Paychex, Gusto, or QuickBooks

    • Strong Excel and data entry skills

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage deadlines effectively
