  • Responsibilities

    The Payroll Associate will continually work with the Payroll Management team to ensure that the quality of our payroll, invoices and reporting is top notch. This position is responsible for processing payrolls for medium to high complexity accounts and ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations.

    Responsibilities

    • Manages assigned accounts to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
    • Primary point of contact for all payroll matters related to assigned accounts.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of termination checks, job titles, employee transfers and new worksite locations set up.
    • Coordinate with the audit team to conduct payroll audits.
    • Liaison with HR, Finance, Benefits and Client Success departments management to ensure process flow, procedures and overall quality is as expected for all assigned accounts.
    • Constantly review work for accuracy.
    • Ensure that all payrolls are delivered in a timely manner.
    • Assist as back up processor.
    • Assist the reporting and Analysis of Union and PBJ requests as applicable
    • Ensure all requests for void and re-issues are property vetted before submitting to Senior Management
    • Analyze reports requests and find solutions
    • Troubleshoot GL issues and assist Jr Representative with GL balancing issues
    • Timely escalation of issues when initial efforts to resolve are insufficient.
    • Mentor Jr Payroll Associates and assist with questions and processes
    • Review requests for bonuses and salary increases and other payroll adjustments in accordance with company policy and approval processes. Ensure compliance
    • Responsible for maintaining account processing instructions up to date
    • Maintains daily processing status tracking sheet updated as tasks are completed.
