    Join REMARKABLE TLCP LLC as a Payroll/HR Generalist and be a vital part of our dynamic team in Southfield, MI. In this role, your aim is to ensure employees are compensated accurately and promptly. All departments operate smoothly and efficiently, providing maximum value to the company and all employees. Your responsibilities will include organizing training opportunities, onboarding new employees, administering employee benefits, and creating company HR policies, processing timesheets, updating records, overseeing payroll payments, and answering payroll-related questions. The ideal candidate is an excellent problem-solver with strong verbal and written communication skills and a committed team player and is detail-oriented, organized, and familiar with payroll processes and related legislation.

    Compensation

    This is a monthly paying position

    Responsibilities

    Process payroll-related documents

    Review payroll information for accuracy and completeness

    Communicate with the human resources team regarding any changes or updates in employee information

    Monitor the electronic payment system and paycheck distribution

    Maintain up-to-date salary information

    Process annual bonuses, severance pay, and other compensations or deductions

    Assist in the recruitment and hiring process

    Onboard new employees

    Create training materials and opportunities for understanding HR policies

    Administer compensation and benefits

    Educating employees on HR-related topics, including leave and compensation

    Assist in performance management tasks

    Collect human resources data and provide summaries and reports to management

    Assist in the recruitment and hiring process

    Garnishments

    Collaborate with management to enhance employee engagement initiatives.

    Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to improve company policies

    Payroll with Gusto

    Exit interviews

    HOURS & COMPENSATION

    10am-3pm

    Wednesday- Friday (with the option to become full time by December)

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

    Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field

    Previous experience as an HR Generalist/Payroll or related position

    Understanding of the payroll process and related legislation and regulations

    Proficient with payroll law and regulations and staying up to date with new laws and regulations

    Proficient in Excel and accounting software

    Highly organized with an eye for detail

    In-depth knowledge of human resources policies and labor laws

    Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases

    Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

    Strong verbal and written communication skills
