We are a fast-growing; privately held hotel management company based in San Diego, CA with 24 select-service properties in California with 2 additional hotels under construction. We offer a wide variety of quality select-service hotels under various brands including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Best Western, Wyndham branded hotels.

We are currently seeking a Payroll Manager to process payroll for over 500 employees.

Accurately processes the bi-weekly payroll for all hotel locations, following pre-established procedures and timelines.

Effectively maintains all payroll documentation, ensuring adherence to company policy and applicable local, state and federal laws.

Prepares and processes all manual payroll check requests, ensuring pre-established procedures have been followed prior to issuance.

Processes all wage attachments as directed by withholding orders.

Prepares and distributes year-end W-2s and W-2cs ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws.

Researches and reconciles any payroll-related discrepancies.

Creates, runs, and distributes payroll related reports as requested.

Assists with annual payroll-related audits, providing information to requesting parties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

HR/Payroll experience required.

Experience utilizing Paycom is highly desired.

Consistently demonstrates an adherence to company policies and procedures.

Strong attention to detail is required.

Maintains a positive and professional attitude and demeanor at all times.

If effective presenting information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects.

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
