This key role ensures accurate, timely payroll processing and provides essential financial support across our growing portfolio of senior living communities.     Position Overview

    As the Payroll and Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll and supporting day-to-day financial operations. This includes processing payroll for multiple locations, maintaining employee records, preparing reports, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, and supporting month-end close procedures. You’ll collaborate closely with both corporate leadership and community teams to ensure smooth financial processes that align with our mission and values.

    What You’ll Get to Do

    Ensure Accuracy and Compliance:

    · Process multi-state bi-weekly payroll for all communities in accordance with company policies and federal/state regulations.

    · Maintain and update payroll records, deductions, garnishments, and employee information.

    · Verify timesheets, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with labor laws.

    Support Financial Operations:

    · Assist with accounts payable and receivable, coding invoices, and reconciling statements.

    · Prepare payroll and financial reports for management and auditors.

    · Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

    Collaborate and Communicate:

    · Partner with HR and community administrators to ensure accuracy in employee data and payroll processing.

    · Provide exceptional service to employees by responding promptly to payroll and benefits inquiries.

    · Work with leadership to improve systems, workflows, and reporting efficiency.

    Drive Organizational Success:

    · Participate in financial projects and audits as needed.

    Who We’re Looking For

    · Technically Skilled: Proficient in payroll systems (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

    · Experienced Professional: 2–4 years of payroll or finance experience preferred; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field desirable.

    · Discreet and Trustworthy: Handles confidential information with the highest level of integrity.

    Additional Details

    Location: Corporate Office – Clinton, Iowa

    Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

    Travel Requirements: Minimal; occasional visits to communities may be required.

    Physical Demands: This position involves regular computer use, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
