We are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our group part-time in Miami, FL to assist with patient care through all phases of physical therapy, and rehabilitation. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant who is passionate about improving the health and quality of life of our patients. Duties: • Aids Physical Therapy with patient care including assisting, instructing, and scheduling patients • Assists patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and rehab programs • Assists PT in performing range of motion and stretching exercises with patients • Assists PT with documenting and completing notes following patient appointments • Completes appropriate forms and home treatment instructions for patients as needed • Assists patients with understanding prescribed health care treatments • Sets up exercise equipment in treatment rooms as needed by pushing, wheeling, or carrying equipment • Ensures billing forms are accurate and complete prior to submission to the billing department • Maintains proper condition and cleanliness of treatment rooms, sterilizes instruments and equipment following each patient visit, and ensures treatment rooms are sufficiently stocked with towels and related supplies • Monitors inventory of supplies, informs management of supply shortages, examines incoming supply orders, and stores in appropriate area • Provides effective communication to Colleagues, PTs, and Physicians as required Requirements: • PTA license in FL
