Peach Tree Healthcare has an opening for a Employee Health & Wellness Coordinator. This position requires a current LVN in good standing , knowledge of labor and OSHA Regulations and a proficient understanding of the health care industry.

This is a full time position, working Monday through Friday . Position Hours for Mon-Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm.
APPLICANTS MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND WILLING TO TRAVEL AT MINIMUM 25% OF TIME, BETWEEN CLINICAL SITES LOCATED IN NORTH SACRAMENTO, MARYSVILLE, YUBA CITY, AND LIVE OAK, CA.
This position will have a home site of North Sacramento or Marysville, dependent on selected applicants geographical location.
Hybrid work from home up to two days a week may be considered.

Position Summary*
In coordination with the Director of Nursing and Clinical Services, this position is responsible for the coordinating of all activities pertaining to employee health within Peach Tree Health, to include nut not limited to PPD placement and readings, post-exposure contact tracing and follow-up, N-95 FIT testing, employee immunization records and vaccine clinics, provider physicals, ADA accommodations and worker’s compensation investigation and follow-up. This position will act as the lead for infection control standards, follow-up, and education for all Peach Tree employees.
In addition, this position will be responsible for the coordination of Peach Tree Health’s COVID vaccine programs, to include maintaining vaccine inventory, vaccine access, and program compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed Vocation Nurse (LVN) license in good standing required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Proven self-starter, excellent organizational characteristics, quality minded; able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary and departmental team.
- Knowledge of labor code and OSHA regulations and requirements highly preferred.
- Proficient understanding of the health care industry, preferably within the ambulatory and community health center sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point).
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of three (3) years related clinical experience, preferably in a patient centered care model and/or employee health.
- Experience in placing and reading PPD’s, administering flu shots and immunizations/vaccines, FIT testing, and other health care surveillances.
- Experience in risk management, worker’s compensation, occupational employee health, care coordination, resource management.
- Education/Licenses/Certification*
- LVN license in good standing and compliance with the State of California required,

Role specific skills required:

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
- Oversee Employee Health functions, including implementing and maintaining programs that encourage injury prevention and provider care and coordination of treatment for employees.
- Resource center advocate for patients needing assistance, related to medical support, such as, minimal case management and follow-up of care and resources.
- Support all employee with accessing all programs and services available to within and outside of Peach Tree Health.
- Administer, track, and maintain vaccines, immunizations, and testing for all employees, to include but no limited to, flu shot, COVID vaccines, PPD readings, N-95 FIT testing.
- Complete any pertinent testing for employee exposures, such as COVID testing.
- Manages the immunization surveillance process, and provides health education and guidance to the employees, employment candidates, volunteers, students, and physicians within Peach Tree Health.
- Collaborate with leadership and human resources to develop and implement employee health policies, procedures, programs, and services that promote the health/safety of employees.
- Coordinates and performs administrative and clerical activities relating to various aspects of Worker’s Compensation, employee health treatment, follow-up, and documentation.
- Serves as resource for all Peach Tree employee and providers in the ongoing effort to minimize the risk of infections amongst employees.
- Provides infection control, prevention in-services, and other related infectious disease education to all employee and departments within Peach Tree Health.
- Assists leadership in designing and monitoring systems to comply with standards and regulation pertaining to infection control.
- Completes infection preventions site visits to all sites and oversee the process during outbreaks of infections, including documentation and reporting of actions and results.
- Leads the exposure management process, to include root cause analysis, investigation, and education over the prevention of injuries and illnesses.
- Maintain an accurate and up to date database of Employee Health mandates as well as employee medical files.
- Release pertinent information to all employee, such as, pandemic/epidemic guidance and responses.
- In collaboration with the training department, designs educational programs to meet the objectives of Peach Tree Health employee safety and infection control prevention.
- Stays current with the most up-to-date clinical research, county/state/federal legislation guidelines.
- Coordinate all aspect of the COVID Vaccine Program, to included, scheduling, vaccine ordering/stock, reporting and compliance.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Must travel to other sites to observe direct reports and clinical support employee, attend meetings or trainings, and complete infection control or worker’s comp related site visits.
