Over the past 50 years, Peacock Alley has established itself as a premier luxury bed and bath linen company. Our collections are imported from the best mills in Italy, Portugal, and beyond, many of which have a history of textiles that spans generations. In our workroom in Dallas, Texas, we still hand-cut, sew, and embroider many cherished pieces.
A Day in the Life as a Sewer
The Manufacturing Team is a close-knit team led by the Manufacturing Manager and housed at our Corporate Office in Dallas, TX. The primary role of a Sewer (non-exempt) at Peacock Alley is to create beautiful, timeless pieces according to specification.

If you have worked in a manufacturing environment, have a can-do attitude, and have an eye for detail, this position may be perfect for you!
In the demanding manufacturing world, we are looking for someone adaptable to change and willing to see a task through from beginning to end. Additionally, we seek a person with great precision in detail while maintaining integrity and self-awareness.
Experience: 1 year of similar or related experience.
Education: a high school education or GED.
How is the Work Schedule?
The Sewer position is full-time, typically working 40 hours weekly. The schedule is 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., five days a week, with weekends off in most cases.
