POSITION SUMMARY:

This position works as a dining room food server. Duties include direct sales of food and beverages, accurate order taking, delivery of orders, checkout and reconciliation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accurate recording and fulfillment of customer orders, including special requests.

Strong customer service skills and desire to provide excellent service.

Ability to maintain graceful and calm demeanor under pressure.

Proven ability to multi task with customers in various stages of dining.

Knowledge and compliance with all alcohol related laws and best practices.

Knowledgeable regarding common foods, draft & bottled beers and liquors.

Other tasks as assigned by Food & Beverage Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to work a variety of shifts, especially weekends, up to 4 or 5 days per week.

Must be 16 years of age or over. (Must be 21 years of age or over to serve alcohol.)

Excellent customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic and motivational.

Must enjoy working with and interacting with the public and other employees.

Must have reliable transportation

Prior work-related experience in the restaurant and/or hospitality industry strongly preferred.

Working knowledge of inventory, cash reconciliations and cost of goods.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Valid Food Handler Card required within 30 days of hire.
