The original 18-hole design of 1959 underwent a major reconstruction which included all greens rebuilding, lakes, bunkers, tree work and new tees, and cart paths. Additionally, there is a 19,400 square foot clubhouse offering gorgeous indoor and outdoor facilities for weddings, business meetings and events.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The purpose of this position is to support the Golf Services by providing excellent customer service in the Pro Shop.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Answering and responding to phone calls or directing to the appropriate individual, as appropriate

    Booking tee times, managing tee sheet with the starter, and controlling the pace of play

    Maintaining orderliness and cleanliness of the pro shop

    Assist in tournament operations

    Work closely with the driving range and outside service staff to ensure a position experience for guests

    Assisting the Golf Services Manager in inventory control, counting, and reporting

    Responsible for working with the Golf Services Manager in pricing and displaying of inventory and tournament operations

    Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1-3 years experience preferred in any fashion of the golf industry, private facility a plus

    PGA apprentice or individuals seeking to enroll in the program highly desired

    Working knowledge of golf course operations and practices

    Point Of Sale experience

    Cash handling experience

    Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

    Strong demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

    Must display leadership qualities and ability to be a self-starter

    Must be a team player with a positive attitude

    High school diploma or GED

    Afternoon and evening availability is required.
