    The Financial Analyst position is an opportunity to join a young, fast growing property management company, specializing in the financial management of Boston area condominium associations and apartment buildings. The Analyst will work directly with clients to provide financial analysis and assist with day to day accounting and financial management of the Peacock Properties portfolio. The Analyst will report directly to the Director of Finance.

    Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, such as boards of trustees, property managers, investors, lenders, auditors, and tax advisors

    Preparation of financial condition analysis for property meetings

    Identifying and implementing process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy

    Preparation and review of the operating budgets and funding plans as necessary

    Coordinate property invoicing through the billable work order system as necessary

    Coordinate unit owner invoicing for unit specific authorizations, and other related charges

    Reporting on notable budget variances to internal and external stakeholders

    Preparation of financial packages with general analysis including but not limited to: Balance sheet changes; variances to budget, and annualized projections.

    Represent Peacock Properties as an additional contact for customers and vendors in resolving Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable questions

    Coordinating and overseeing the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes

    Providing guidance on accounting policies and procedures

    Ensuring compliance with GAAP, tax, and audit requirements

    Finance Manager Skills and Qualifications:

    A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

    CPA or equivalent certification is preferred but not required

    At least three years of relevant experience in real estate accounting

    Proficiency in Excel, and Buildium or other real estate accounting software

    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

    Attention to detail and quality

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel; Data Entry; Detail Oriented; Organized; Timely; Strong Bookkeeping Skills; Understanding of Budgetary Principles; Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills;
