We are looking to hire a full-time field Multi-Line Claims Adjuster to support our growing operations in North Carolina. This would be a great position for a new adjuster or a recent college graduate looking to join the exciting field of insurance. Responsibilities: Inspects, photographs, measures, sketches, and assesses damages to automobiles, homes and commercial buildings involved in various types of losses such as partial fire, total fire, water damage, wind damage, flood damage, hail, and vandalism. Assess and accurately determine the style of construction, ages of materials in, grade/quality of the materials, size of materials/appliances, specifications of appliances Determines the extent of damage to property and estimate the cost to repair, replace, or compensation Identifies additional exposures such as Personal Property/Contents, Additional Living Expense, Mold, Ordinance related to a property loss and appropriately assesses the damages and resolved the exposure Quickly identify the need to engage water mitigation experts to reduce property damage costs; Negotiate with water mitigation companies to secure the necessary services at an appropriate cost Interpret the various homeowner's policies including HO3, HO5, HO6, and DP3, forms in force, and other records to determine insurance coverage and limits of coverage for any loss; Interpret these policies for all states coverage may be written in for Load Level claims in other states Identifies the need to hire or engage various vendors to assist in assessing damage, determining cause of loss and to assist with limiting loss to customer property; Negotiate the necessary services at a reasonable price; Types of vendor include engineers, mold remediation companies, water mitigation companies; cause and origin experts Effectively manages relationships with Public Adjusters and Attorneys to negotiate and resolve clams for our insureds; Requirements: You must own a reliable vehicle. You must be physically able to climb a ladder up to 2 stories. Licensing & Training: We will provide licensing course that you must pass prior to hire 2 Weeks of Paid Training will occur at our Florida Training Center
