We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Medical Director to lead our clinical services for our Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). As a pioneering PACE program provider, we are at the forefront of redefining how we care for our aging population.

    About the role:

    • Ensure the highest standard of patient care by establishing and maintaining clinical protocols, guidelines, and quality assurance measures.

    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize the health and well-being of elderly participants in the PACE program.

    • Lead the clinical team in utilization of data analytics in healthcare delivery.

    • Execute the vision and strategy for the PACE program, aligning with Valir Health's commitment to improving lives.

    • Drive innovation in patient care delivery, incorporating technologies and methodologies in support of a value-based care model.

    • Foster relationships with community stakeholders, healthcare providers, and regulatory bodies to enhance the PACE program's impact and reach.

    • Actively participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote the benefits of the PACE program.

    • Implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and resource utilization within the PACE program, ensuring sustainability and scalability.

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of the program.

    • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Successful candidates would posses:

    • Extensive experience in geriatric medicine and a deep understanding of the unique healthcare needs of the elderly.

    • Proven leadership experience in healthcare administration, preferably within a PACE program or similar integrated care model.

    • Strong track record of implementing technological solutions to improve healthcare delivery.

    • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

    • A strong knowledge of the federal and state laws and regulations governing health care.

    • Detailed understanding of government requirements/expectations for health care compliance programs.

    • Able to operate successfully in a fast-paced and agile environment.

    • Demonstrates initiative, self-motivation, practical learning skills, enthusiasm, and an ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

    Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience

    • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with active board certification.  Geriatrician or Hospitalist Preferred 

    • Certified to practice medicine in the State of Oklahoma without limitation or restriction

    • Licensed by both the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control (“OBNDDC”) and the Drug Enforcement Agency (“DEA”)

    • At least five years working with the frail and elderly population.
