Overview:

Peak Sports MGMT is looking for eager, driven, and self-motivated students to join our schools for a semester internship. The purpose of this position is to gain working experience in order to satisfy class requirements. Peak Sports MGMT controls all aspects of advertising within the athletic department. Interns will gain insight and actual experience in the areas of: Radio, Television, Print, Digital Media, Branding and Sampling, Game Promotions & Sponsorships, Signage, and Coaches Endorsements.

Responsibilities:

Students will be expected to assist account executives, and the General Manager in various areas. Intern duties and responsibilities include: -Assist in marketing, promotions and game operations for (University) athletic events and NCAA-hosted tournaments -Assist in collection, design and preparation of prospecting, proposals and research projects. -Assist in coordinating, tracking and updating the Peak Sports MGMT corporate partner activity database; as well as contract fulfillment, as directed -Assist with coordination and collection of advertising copy by defined deadlines. *This may include radio, signage, print, and internet advertising components.

Qualifications:

Open to any qualified candidate who is an undergraduate student, as well as graduate level students.

• The students will be expected to dress presentably because they will be working with various professionals and sponsors
• The student must be punctual and trustworthy with information regarding the day to day business of Peak Sports MGMT
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with the following computer programs: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines
• Good organizational skills
• Dependable and enthusiastic
• Able to lift over 20 pounds and have a good driving record
• A minimum 2.5 GPA

Interns will abide to the General Manager's instructions, rules and regulations, and Peak Sport MGMT organization policies and procedures.

Interns are to provide services according to the NCAA, or related professional association Code of Ethics.
