POSITION: Associate Financial Analyst

SUMMARY OF ROLE

The ASSOCIATE FINANCIAL ANALYST will support the Finance Manager and executives with regular and ad hoc reporting focused on driving financial and operational performance, efficiency, and cost management. This individual will participate in and help drive standard weekly and monthly reporting packages, data management, report building, and ad hoc projects to inform the business on operational and financial performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the Operations, Data Analytics, and Finance teams in support of division leaders within the business
• Work with Field Managers on a weekly basis to provide visibility and understanding of project performance, resource allocation, and profitability
• Work with the Data Analytics team on process automation, report and dashboard building, and maintenance
• Learn and master data and reporting systems, and facilitate the sharing of best practices
• Work with the Finance team on margin analysis to drive business insight around process improvement and cost savings opportunities
• Performs other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred)
• Strong Information Management skills and attention to detail
• 1+ years of operational or financial analytics work experience
• Strong Excel skills, including analysis and modeling with large data sets. Experience with pivot tables and nested formulas (must have)
• Salesforce experience (preferred)
• Power BI experience (preferred)
• Experience with Adaptive Insights and NetSuite (preferred)
• Ability to partner with mid-level and senior management
• Strong listening and communication skills, including verbal and written communication
• Can intuitively break down complicated problems into simple process steps
• Must be a self-starter with a sense of urgency and an ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
