We're looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team! You’ll complete initial patient screenings, conduct dental cleanings, and assist dentists with examinations and procedures. Responsibilities: Conduct initial screenings for patients to understand their oral health history Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay Provide post-operative health education to patients so they can take practice good dental care at home after procedures Aid dentists by deliberating the best way to treat a variety of dental disease Sterilize all dental equipment to make sure everything is properly cleaned Put patients at ease by talking with them before, during, and after the appointment Identify dental issues such as periodontitis, gingivitis, or cavities so they can be treated as soon as possible Educate patients of all ages on how to take care of their teeth through good flossing and brushing twice daily Record any changes to the patient’s health history and document the ongoings of each appointment Qualifications: Clear understanding and commitment to following HIPAA regulations and all safety guidelines Superb customer service and communication skills Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene Compensation: $55 - $60 hourly
