\n\nThe Senior Product Manager for Interoperability Capabilities provides leadership for multiple cross-functional software delivery teams (comprised of software engineers, software quality engineers, and technical project managers) sharing responsibility for planning, designing, and delivering on capabilities to support Pearsons diverse portfolio of learning\n\n \n\nproducts. The Senior Product Manager is active in all phases of planning and development, from gathering stakeholder input and requirements through design and delivery.\n\n \n\nResponsibilities\n\n \n\nThe Senior Product Manager for Interoperability Capabilities:\n\n \n\nGathers requirements and other documentation to support the development process;\n\n \n\nWrites, grooms, and prioritizes users stories;\n\n \n\nContributes to mid- and long-term roadmap definition;\n\n \n\nServes as product owner in Agile Development ceremonies (including daily scrum, iteration planning, and product\n\n \n\ndemos);\n\n \n\nManages and executes on product model roadmaps in response to application requirements and in coordination withother development groups contributing services for the Pearson platform strategy;\n\n \n\nTroubleshoots and facilitates the resolution of production issues; and\n\n \n\nMaintains relevant scope and delivery timelines.\n\n \n\nQualifications\n\n \n\nEducation & Experience\n\n \n\nPlease have:\n\n \n\nBachelors degree or equivalent work experience;\n\n \n\nMinimum 5 years software product management or project management experience;\n\n \n\nExperience with large-scale systems integration projects with strong aptitude for managing highly complex issues relating\n\n \n\nto scalability and interoperability; and\n\n \n\nExperience managing internal and external stakeholders.\n\n \n\nKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities\n\n \n\nPlease be:\n\n \n\nDetail oriented, possessing concise and assertive communication skills;\n\n \n\nConfident in making sound and timely decisions using strong analytical and problem-solving skills;\n\n \n\nAble to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects;\n\n \n\nWilling to work independently or collaboratively (as part of a cross-functional team), building consensus both horizontally\n\n \n\nand vertically; and\n\n \n\nFamiliar with Agile Development methodologies.\n\n
