Job Description

Pedal Born Pictures is a media storytelling company based in Berkeley, CA. We utilize film, illustration, and written word to shed light on narratives often hiding in plain sight. We are working to incorporate web-based storytelling into our narrative model. 

We are looking for a web and graphic design intern to work with us on several upcoming projects. The ideal candidate should be able to:

-Take initial direction from our creative director and translate that into dynamic graphic and website assets that fit within the context of our larger storytelling projects.

-Work independently, finding creative ways to execute a specific vision.

-Bring a strong aesthetic and design sense to the table.

-Create assets that function across a variety of platforms and devices.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years' of experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Proficiency in WordPress

• Proficiency Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

• Proficiency with Adobe After Effects and Premiere is a plus

This internship is starting at $20/hour for 8-10 hours of work per week, with an initial duration of 2.5 months. There is the potential to transition into a more long-term position after the internship as well.
