We're seeking site leaders to manage the daily operations of our summer bike in Washington State. In 2019 we will have camps in Seattle & the Eastside.

ABOUT PEDALHEADS BIKE

Pedalheads Bike is a learn-to-ride bike program for kids ages 3 through 12 best known for helping children get off training wheels and safely ride on the road.

DUTIES

Pedalheads site leaders are responsible for managing all activities at their respective camps. Daily duties include:

• PROGRAM MANAGEMENT - Ensure that program delivery and safety standards are maintained, and that every participant has a positive and rewarding experience at Pedalheads. This will require lots of hands-on involvement teaching the kids.

• HUMAN RESOURCES/EMPLOYEE RELATIONS - Schedule and manage camp instructors, and volunteers, mentoring and motivating your team and recording and entering payroll hours.

• CUSTOMER SERVICE - Be willing to go the extra mile to engage customers and provide excellent customer service.

• ADMINISTRATION - Assist with on-site registration and processing payments for product sales.

• OPERATIONS - Manage equipment and supplies for your site.

• TEACHING - Instructing own class of kids at camp

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for people who have had experience with young children, and are energetic, dependable, creative, and responsible. Previous experience at summer camps, or roles in teaching, coaching, supervising and/or managing are assets.

COMMITMENT

This is a contract position from end of June/early July to August 31, 2019. Please note that training in June is mandatory. Hours are assigned on week-to-week basis and depend on the number of participants. 

COMPENSATION (SALARY + BONUS)

Hourly wage: $15.45/hour
