The Pediatric Clinical Coordinator develops a back office team that is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate clinical treatment for pediatric patients in a welcoming, child-friendly, and non-threatening environment. The Coordinator encourages clinical excellence, teamwork, and communication to ensure every child's visit is positive, productive, and reassuring for the parent/guardian. Responsibilities: • Sets the performance standards for the back office staff, ensuring pediatric patient care is provided in the manner endorsed by the practice. • Oversees the training of the back office staff in their duties and responsibilities, works to expand their skills and knowledge as appropriate, and assigns the clinical team their duties. • Works with the Scheduling Optimization Coordinator (SOC) to establish the clinical staff’s work hours and schedule. • Motivates the team for high performance and refines procedures for optimum production. • Enforces OSHA standards. • Holds the team accountable to the procedure manual and communication memos in all areas necessary to maintain and ensure the highest quality. • Checks stock, orders supplies, and maintains clean operatories. Qualifications: • Accredited Licensed Dental Assistant course completion and/or minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the dental profession. • Valid X-ray certificate. Compensation: $32 - $35 hourly
