We’re searching for a personable dental hygienist to join our pediatric specialty practice. You’ll welcome patients and conduct their initial screenings, perform thorough, dental cleanings, and help dentists with examinations and procedures. Applicants should be knowledgeable about dentistry best practices, possess incredible interpersonal skills, and love working with children. We would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: • Educate patients of all ages on how to take care of their teeth through good flossing and brushing twice daily • Take x-ray images of the patients’ teeth to help dentists identify any oral health issues like cavities • Disinfect all dental instruments to ensure cross-contamination does not occur • Put patients at ease by talking with them before, during, and after the appointment • Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay • Record any changes to the patient’s health history and document the ongoings of each appointment Qualifications: • Superb customer service and communication skills • Has dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located • Certified to perform CPR • Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in registered dental hygiene program preferred, associate’s degree required Compensation: $50 - $60 hourly
