We are seeking a personable and highly organized Treatment Coordinator (TC) to join our busy and upbeat team. This role is central to the patient experience, acting as the bridge between our doctors and families, ensuring every visit is smooth, informative, and positive.
Position Overview: As a Treatment Coordinator, you will guide patients and parents through their treatment journey, ensuring they understand proposed plans, the benefits of treatment, insurance coverage, and financial arrangements. You will be the key point of contact for scheduling appointments and coordinating care, helping our patients leave confident and informed.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet, educate, and communicate with patients and parents in person and via phone
Prepare and present treatment plans clearly and effectively
Explain treatment plans, benefits, and financial arrangements
Schedule treatment and recall appointments accurately
Discuss finances with patients/parents and collect payments
Verify insurance benefits and submit pre-determinations
Serve as primary contact for new patient referrals
Maintain reports and follow up on outstanding financial arrangements or unscheduled appointments
Qualifications:
Previous experience in dental or medical office roles with similar responsibilities preferred
Strong communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent written communication skills for clear chart notes and documentation
Strong customer service and teamwork skills, demonstrating positivity and professionalism
Experience with Open Dental or similar practice management software preferred
