    Providence Staffing is partnering with a leading private pediatric dental practice in Mobile, Alabama, dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate dental care to children in a welcoming and family-centered environment. The practice is seeking a Pediatric Dentist who is passionate about children’s oral health and values work-life balance, with the flexibility to work as few as three days per week.

    Position Overview

    The Pediatric Dentist will be responsible for delivering comprehensive dental care to infants, children, and adolescents, including patients with special healthcare needs. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, skilled in pediatric treatment techniques, and committed to creating positive dental experiences for young patients and their families.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Review and evaluate patients’ medical and dental histories to assess oral health needs
    • Conduct comprehensive pediatric dental examinations, including evaluation of teeth, gums, jaw development, and oral tissues
    • Diagnose and treat common pediatric dental conditions such as cavities, early childhood caries, and gum disease
    • Develop and implement age-appropriate treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs
    • Perform restorative and preventive procedures, including fillings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and space maintainers
    • Provide behavior management and anxiety-reduction techniques to ensure a positive patient experience
    • Perform surgical and advanced procedures as appropriate, including extractions and pulp therapy
    • Prescribe medications when necessary to manage pain or infection
    • Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care
    • Monitor growth and development of the dentition and recommend orthodontic referrals when appropriate
    • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulatory standards

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school
    • Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program
    • Active Alabama dental license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Alabama
    • Strong knowledge of pediatric dental anatomy, growth, and development
    • Experience treating pediatric patients, including those with anxiety or special needs
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust with children and parents
    • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Competitive compensation: $150,000 – $400,000 annually, based on experience and production
