We are looking for a Part Time Pediatric Medical Assistant for Pure Joy Pediatrics.

What doing a great job looks like:
· Support and collaborate with experienced physician(s).
· Rooming and supporting (care) treatment of 20 to 25 pediatric patients daily.
· Meticulous documentation of procedures, in office testing and vaccine administration.
· Managing precisely with 100% accuracy medical and vaccine inventories.
· Maintaining a timely turn-around time for patients in the clinic.
· Maintaining a neat, clean work environment.
· Administering medications and vaccines 100% accurate.
· Greeting and treating patients with courtesy, compassion and respect.
· Uphold the practice Core Values.
· Assure a full schedule for Healthcare Provider(s).
· Collaborate with office and remote staff to assure a positive patient experience.
· Supporting office staff by answering and returning phone calls, refilling prescriptions, and answering patient’s medical related questions.

Meet our CEO and Mentor:
Dr Palmer is the CEO and Founder of Pure Joy Pediatrics in Portland, OR. She has a wealth of experience in knowledge after nearly 18 years in pediatrics. Her experience was built on her years in pediatric hospital medicine, running house calls and working as an urgent care, emergency room pediatrician. She has been practicing general pediatrics in the Portland metro area for the past 9+ years. She opened her own single provider practice in 2022 with the intention of restoring joy to the pediatric encounter. Healthcare encounters feel more and more rushed these days, but her approach in providing comfort measures for procedures actual improves the clinical work flow and keeps patients coming back. Her patients appreciate the intention and many stop by for office visits multiple times a month. Her focus on team has resulted in a supportive and innovative staff that teaches and exchanges ideas to improve systems and patient care. Compensation & Benefits:
This position is a part-time position 2-3 days per week (or more if desirable).
Competitive pay between $20-$30 dollars/hour DoE eventually more.
